ABOUT ME

Despite my parents fretting that I’d never make a living as a writer, I’ve been doing just that for more than 15 years. As the editor-in-chief and managing editor for two national wine business magazines, I learned the importance of meeting deadlines and submitting tight, clean copy. I mastered the art of multitasking, from big-picture strategizing to tiny-detail nitpicking. Perhaps most importantly, I came to understand what makes a great story, and how to tell it.

As both a journalist and content marketing writer, my work focuses on topics that I believe make life worth living: wine, food, beer and travel. My stories have appeared in EatingWell, the San Francisco Chronicle, VinePair, Wine Enthusiast, and many other publications. Among my content marketing clients are companies such as Meredith, Drizly, and Wine Institute.

People who’ve worked with me will tell you that I hold myself to high standards of quality and professional integrity, that I’m full of creative ideas and that I’m as hard-working as they come. They’ll also say that I’m a pleasure to work with and have a great sense of humor. Who am I to argue?
